Her+ Tech Hub
Code of Conduct.

Her+ Tech Hub is an inclusive community for women+, trans women, non-binary people who identify with womanhood, and supportive allies. All features, content, and interactions must comply with the following Code of Conduct.

Section 01

Respect and inclusion.

  • All participants must be treated with dignity and respect.
  • Use inclusive language, honour pronouns, and avoid assumptions about identity.
  • No discrimination based on gender, gender identity, race, ethnicity, disability, neurodivergence, age, religion, sexual orientation, or socioeconomic background.
  • The platform must promote equitable access and accessible communication at all times.
  • Respect and inclusion must be upheld in all generated content.

Section 02

Professional integrity.

  • Interactions must remain constructive, honest, and supportive.
  • Critique ideas, not individuals.
  • No plagiarism, misinformation, or unethical behaviour.
  • Professional integrity must be maintained across all features.

Section 03

Zero tolerance for harassment.

The following behaviours are strictly prohibited:

  • Harassment, bullying, intimidation, or threats.
  • Offensive jokes, slurs, stereotypes, or derogatory remarks.
  • Unwelcome sexual attention or inappropriate comments.
  • Disruption of events, discussions, or digital spaces.
  • Any behaviour violating UK equality, safeguarding, or safety laws.
  • Zero tolerance for harassment applies to all interactions.

Section 04

Privacy and data protection.

  • No sharing of personal data without explicit consent.
  • No screenshots, recordings, or redistribution of private conversations.
  • All features must follow GDPR principles: data minimisation, purpose limitation, transparency, and user control.
  • Protect privacy in all generated outputs.

Section 05

Expected behaviour.

All members, speakers, sponsors, and volunteers must:

  • Engage respectfully and constructively.
  • Support diversity in participation and representation.
  • Collaborate in good faith.
  • Report concerns promptly.
  • Constructive collaboration is required in all interactions.

Section 06

Reporting and enforcement.

  • Users must be able to report misconduct privately and safely.
  • Reports must be handled confidentially and reviewed promptly.
  • Consequences may include warnings, removal from events, or permanent exclusion.
  • Report concerns is a required feature behaviour.

By using Her+ Tech Hub, all participants agree to follow this Code of Conduct.
